The New Dirty South: Meet Hip-Hop’s NiGE HOOD

Got a message from the dirty-dirty (do they still call it that?) from Charlotte, NC hip-hop artist, NiGE HOOD. He shares with us his latest music video, “A-Train”, featuring fellow emcee, Tim Stacks. Together they bring it back to 1996, teaming up on a slick cover to Jay Z classic, “Bring It On.”  Here’s his story.

North Cackalacky, stand up!

Shot by Tyler Coxxx of Sky Box Visuals , “A-Train” journeys through Charlotte, NC’s old neighborhoods, bringing nostalgia alive in this modern classic by NiGE HOOD and Tim Stacks.
